Not every used Saab is suitable to be a Mike Shaw Pre-Owned Saab.  We go through a number of qualifying steps before we will consider placing a Saab in our inventory:

• Carfax run on the vehicle
• Warranty history checked on the vehicle
• Maintenance history checked on the vehicle
• Vehicle paint is metered to check for past body work
• Vehicle is checked for frame damage

Once we determine that a vehicle is suitable to be sold as a Mike Shaw Pre-Owned Saab, we perform the following pre-sale process:
 

• Certification process begins
• 117-point vehicle inspection performed
• Warranty work performed
• Scheduled maintenance and major services performed in the Number One Saab Parts & Service Department in the USA
• Replacement of all wear items not up to Saab Certified Pre-Owned requirements (ex: brakes, tires, etc.)
• Any dents removed
• Scratches and scuffs in the paint are repaired
• Interior refurbished
• Complete vehicle detail performed
• Set of books and spare key provided
• A copy of the certification inspection and repair work are placed with owner's manual
